2009 Membership forms. Your 2009 renewal forms will be mailed out soon... and after that, a copy of the application will be posted on the links page as well. Current members are asked to always use the renewal form as it has valuable information on it that will not only help with accuracy, but also help us expidite everything.
Save yourself some time with a new AMA card. Tired of the all the paperwork at sign-up? The company that provides the insurance for AMA events demands that both parents be present to sign the minor release form and that the minor sign the back side of the form. We know how difficult this can be for a lot of racers, and what a hassle it is for those doing sign-up. There is a way to simplify some of the sign-up procedures: get an annual release verification card. The easiest way is to go to the AMA website: www.AMADirectlink.com. Go to the Member Services section, then find the 2009 Annual Release Verification Application. Print it out; get it notarized and return it to the AMA as soon as possible. Now is the time to apply for the card. Begin the 2009 season with your current AMA card, current district card, and your Annual release verification card. That will make the first race easier for everyone. With this verification card adult racers can usually skip the multi-release forms at sign-up. Parents of minor racers benefit twice: both do not have to be present and they should not have to complete the release form. These applications are not available at the tracks, so contact the AMA so your paperwork is complete now.

From Brian Terry: I am the new D16 HS ref. Most of you don't know me, but I was the original HS Ref. I also have a commitment from the district to purchase an electronic scoring system. This will be owned by the district and available to the clubs to be used to score their events.
